2012 AOY  Mr. Matt Wellenburger

Welcome to Anvil Jaw Bass Club (AJBC).

We are located in Little Rock Arkansas. We offer two distinct tournament seasons for our anglers. AJBC has a spring
and a fall tournament schedule. The spring schedule starts in January and ends in July.  The fall schedule starts in September and ends in December.

For AJBC (Spring) we fish for an individual points system. Entry fee's are $40.00 per tournament and the big bass pot is included in the $40.00 entry fee. The number of place payouts is determined by the number of contestants fishing.  We have a 70% payback format. It is affiliated with the BASS Federation Series, and we sponsor a team for the B.A.S.S. Arkansas State Championship Tournament.  For the spring club members, we have an annual club classic held in early fall for those that have competed in at least 51% of the spring schedule.  All tournaments are fished as an individual and if you bring your boat you will be able to fish from your boat. Non-boaters are welcome to attend meetings and be paired with a boater. You must be a member of AJBC to fish our spring seasonal tournaments. If you are not currently a member we can take care of that during any of our meetings.

During fall we hold tournaments that are "Open" to everyone and use a team format.  There are no membership dues or points.   The entry fees are $60 per team with an optional $10 per team Big Bass Pot. Again, we have a 70% payback. In addition for Fall, we also have an annual "NEW YEAR DAY OPEN TOURNAMENT" that is held on Lake Hamilton on January 1st.  It's a team format as well, has a great participation rate, and is an excellent way to bring in the new
year.....BASS FISHING!!!
